Need more sleep? Looking for a baby nurse or a night nanny in Memphis?

“Wait, didn't I just go back to sleep like 20 minutes ago?!” Pass the monitor to us, mom and dad.

“Wait, didn't I just go back to sleep like 20 minutes ago?!” Pass the monitor to us, mom and dad.

Let our postpartum doulas and newborn care specialists help you survive those early sleepless nights with your new baby.

You’re exhausted from being supermom all day long, and then bedtime comes and your baby is suddenly ready to party!

You’re still in the early newborn days and your baby hasn’t figured out that whole days and nights thing yet.

Your friends and family either live out of town or are working and unavailable at night.

You’re headed back to work soon and want to make sure you get the rest you need.

You’re wondering how in the world you’re going to be able to handle a toddler and a newborn on so little sleep.

You wish someone else could be on baby duty for a few nights so you can reconnect with your partner. You haven’t had a real conversation in weeks!

Uh, what day is it again? I’m so exhausted it all feels like one big, long, never-ending day to me.

My family has been helping me, but now they’re exhausted and need a break, too!

Perhaps you’re ready for relief but aren’t sure where to turn. A baby nurse? Night nanny? That one friend mentioned something about a postpartum doula. Oh, and there’s a newborn care specialist in there, too. You just know that you need somebody, and fast!

Sound familiar? Maybe your story is different, but your need for sleep isn’t! An overnight doula is a more modern alternative to a baby nurse or night nanny. In addition to taking care of your baby at night, we take care of you, too.

A postpartum doula has specialized training in normal postpartum recovery, so we understand the challenges moms face after bringing baby home. We also have an in-depth knowledge in all aspects of newborn care, including safe sleep and forming good sleep habits.

We’re happy to take your baby all night if that’s what you need, but we’re also available to answer questions, offer support, and help you find solutions if you have a problem that needs troubleshooting. We can help you catch up on sleep and household tasks. What if you could wake up to folded laundry, an empty dishwasher, coffee, and breakfast? It’s not too good to be true.

Overnight care is for breastfeeding moms, too!

If you are breastfeeding, we can help you get the most sleep by bringing your baby to you to nurse and then taking care of diaper changes, burping, and getting your baby back to sleep.  You can nurse your baby and then go back to sleep without ever having to wake up all the way. If nighttime hunger strikes, we’ll bring you snacks and make sure you have water available. If you have pumped milk ready to go, we’ll happily take over feedings for you. If you are having trouble breastfeeding, we provide basic breastfeeding assistance and can refer you to more specialized lactation support if the need arises.

When should I book overnight care? What if I'm still pregnant?

The sooner, the better. We prioritize early bookings, and cannot guarantee last-minute availability, so if you’re pregnant and know you want overnight help when baby comes home, let's get you on the calendar ASAP. The more you tell us about your needs, the easier it will be to place you with the care you need!

Prices $27-29/hr based on package purchased. Choose from our standard options, or we’re happy to create a custom package for you.
